Take a Break at Grevillea House
We all need to take a break sometimes.
For people with disability, those with mental illness or chronic conditions and those who are frail and aged along with their carers, it can sometimes be difficult to find accommodation to cater to their diverse needs.
While some hotels or B&Bs may have accessible facilities, very few have dedicated support and facilities which may be required by some people.
However, there are respite options that support you! This is where Grevillea House comes in. With dedicated care facilities in the picturesque Clare Valley, you can have a much needed break in a beautiful location!
What Is Cottage Respite?
Grevillea House is an example of cottage respite. Cottage respite is available seven days a week and you can stay for up to a week at a time. At Grevillea House, you can choose how much care and support you need while you take a relaxing break away from home.
Grevillea House Services
Grevillea House embraces a homely atmosphere, while also providing the essential services needed to accommodate a person’s individual needs.
Grevillea House is a four-bedroom, accessible cottage in South Australia’s Clare Valley (just a two-hour drive from Adelaide).
The cottage has space to accommodate up to six people for overnight respite. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom, with fitted rails, shower chairs, and handheld shower heads for accessibility.
In addition to accessibility support, Grevillea House’s support workers will also provide home-cooked meals and offer 24/7-hour home support during your stay.
The Clare Valley
If you want to get out and explore, Clare Valley has something for everyone.
Grevillea House is well positioned for anyone looking to explore Clare Valley. The cottage is just a short two-minute walk from the shopping and cafés on Main Street!
The Clare Valley is also known for its relaxing environment and must-see cultural events. During your stay, you can visit the Clare Agricultural Show, Clare Races, Clare Gourmet Weekend – or just relax in the beautiful Grevillea House.
There’s so much history and culture in the Clare Valley to explore. Local towns in the area, such as Burra, Sevenhill, Watervale, and Auburn have rich histories, stunning lunch options, and cultural events to check out.
If this isn’t enough, there’s also a myriad of galleries and theatres you can explore to satisfy that cultural thirst.
