Whistleblower Disclosure
If you believe that Carers and Disability Link (CADL), or one of our workers, has broken the law, you can make a whistleblowing disclosure through this page, or contact your local office to discuss it with our Quality Department. Your report helps ensure integrity, transparency, and accountability in the services we provide to our clients and community.

What Is Whistleblowing?
Whistleblowing means reporting serious concerns about possible unlawful or unethical conduct within an organisation. Reports can be made verbally or in writing via this page, or to our Quality Department, you may choose to remain anonymous.
Protected whistleblowing is covered by law. This means you are legally protected from retaliation, including:
- Civil, criminal, or administrative penalties
- Workplace disciplinary action or dismissal
- Contract termination or other negative consequences for making a protected disclosure
However, whistleblowing is not protected if your report is purely feedback, or a complaint, or if the information is false or misleading.
How to Make a Whistleblowing Disclosure
You can make a whistleblowing disclosure using any of the following options:
- Complete the Whistleblowing Disclosure tab on our website
- Ask to speak with our Quality Department
- Contact the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
- Speak with the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing
- NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission
- Report the issue to a Police Officer
- Seek help from an Advocate
We take all disclosures seriously and ensure that reports are investigated fairly and confidentially.
Responding to Whistleblowing Reports
Once a disclosure is received, CADL will review and investigate the matter in accordance with our internal Whistleblowing Procedure. Our goal is to address legitimate concerns promptly, protect those who speak up.
Any CADL workers who receive a whistleblowing disclosure will inform the Quality Department as soon as possible.
