CADL are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Manager to lead our Direct Care Services offerings, supporting the delivery of high quality, client focussed services to people with disability and those who are frail and aged.
The Manager Direct Care Services reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Management Team.
About You
The ideal applicant would:
- Have experience in the NDIS and/or Aged Care, governance, risk management, business development and continuous improvement.
- Be an experienced and strategic leader who understands how to bring people together around a shared vision and purpose.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of the Direct Care Services Program (including Commonwealth Home Support Program), the operation of Respite House services, and the suite of offerings associated with delivery of groups for clients with disability.
- Provide leadership in the delivery and maintenance of a contractor model of service delivery for the organisation.
- Take on a leading role in interpretation and implementation of initiatives in line with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Provide strategic input to the development of new service initiatives and growth opportunities.
This is a position of positive influence that will involve regular Board interaction and general cross functional stakeholder management across diverse personnel, volunteers and external service providers.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience leading large teams across programs or regions, in complex service environments
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- A strong understanding of the NDIS and/or Aged Care and quality and safeguards frameworks
- Experience delivering operational change and service improvement initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and performance drivers
- A commitment to person-centred practice
- The ability to lead culture, performance and accountability across the organisation.
