Caring Kids Affirmation Cards
Carers and Disability Link (CADL) is proud to announce the release of the Caring Kids Affirmation Cards, a unique and heartfelt resource created by young Carers from the Adelaide Hills and Barossa regions.
The Caring Kids Affirmation Cards were born from the creativity, lived experience and emotional insight of the young Carers themselves. With funding from the South Australian Department of Human Services, young Carers collaborated to design meaningful affirmation cards that reflect the strength, empathy and wisdom they carry every day.
Each card is unique, just like each young Carer, and includes an uplifting message and beautiful artwork straight from their hearts. The cards aim to:
- Encourage moments of calm
- Inspire self-belief and confidence
- Promote mindfulness and reflection
- Remind readers of their own inner strength
- Raise community awareness of the experiences of Young Carers
A young Carer can support anyone, from their parents, siblings, or their own child; to grandparents, extended family, or even a friend.
